I have a number of courses that I’m collaborating with Morbid Anatomy on in the coming months. The first of these sessions has now been posted, and is available for enrollment! I’m super excited to begin offering these courses in areas where I’m passionate.
The intention of The Unicorn: Symbolism and Paths to Healing in the Modern Psyche is to help anyone who has the unicorn as an active symbol in their psyche to better understand what it may be communicating to them. If you dream about unicorns or have a particular affinity for the symbol, this class is for you.
This class covers:
- An abridged history of the Unicorn
- An overview of how to work with symbols of the unconscious
- A review of alchemical symbols and Jung’s review of the Unicorn in alchemy
- A overview of medieval unicorn images, and their interpretations
- An updated, modern unicorn, and its potential unconscious meanings
The lectures are each followed by a discussion and include recommended and further reading for areas of specific interest. The final session of the class will be student presentations of their responses to the work done in the course – these can be creative or scholarly.
The class runs on Monday and Wednesday evenings, for seven sessions beginning April 15, 2024.
